Look for graduate and entry operations roles at banks, insurers and financial free-zone firms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where AI agents draft decisions that people must review. Each regulator expects firms to control the systems they rely on, so employers need graduates who understand oversight. Choose a sector, learn how agents decide and show checkable evidence.
How is the UAE market set up for this work?
The UAE has more than one financial regulator, and that shapes where you might work. Onshore banks and insurers answer to the Central Bank of the UAE. Firms in the Dubai International Financial Centre answer to the DFSA; those in Abu Dhabi Global Market answer to the FSRA. Data rules differ too: the federal Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies onshore, and the DIFC Data Protection Law applies inside the DIFC.
As a graduate you will not apply these rules yourself, but they explain why your employer insists on careful records, clear escalation and strict data access. This is an explanation of the rules, not legal advice; confirm how they apply to you with counsel.
What would a graduate reviewer do?
| The agent | You |
|---|---|
| Reads a request in Arabic or English | Check it understood correctly |
| Drafts a decision at depth 2 | Approve, edit or reject, with a reason |
| Acts on routine work within limits | Sample its work |
| Holds high-value or unusual items | Decide or escalate |
| Refuses actions outside its bounds | Confirm the refusal and follow up |
What does a first year look like?
Take a finance graduate in Abu Dhabi we will call Omar who joins an insurer's operations team. An agent drafts decisions on health insurance pre-approval requests, checking them against the policy and the provider network. It holds requests above its limit and any that involve treatment outside the network.
Omar reviews holds, reading requests in both Arabic and English. In his second month he spots the agent rejecting requests from a hospital that had joined the network weeks earlier, because its sources still listed the old network. He flags it; the owner adds the network update process to the agent's knowledge upkeep. Where should you apply, and how?
Banks, insurers, payments firms, airlines and large retailers all use agents in customer and back-office work. Some run graduate programmes with rotations; others hire directly. Titles vary, so read duties: review of automated decisions, exceptions, approvals, quality and escalation.
Arabic is a clear advantage where agents serve Arabic-speaking customers; many roles work in English. Follow the CV conventions your target employer expects, and lead with evidence: where you weighed information, caught an error or handled a hard situation.
Steps that help:
- Choose a sector. Learn its products, customers and common complaints.
- Learn governed agent basics. Depth, the four verdicts, provenance and escalation.
- Practise review to a measured standard.
- Get a certificate employers can check at source.

Where the Academy fits
Pryme Intelligence Academy is free to learn and fully online. Foundations takes about four hours. The Operator track sets module tests in your chosen industry and ends in a two-week practicum, on a simulated queue if you are not yet employed. The certificate is issued through VerifyDoc.ai, so an employer in the UAE can check it by number or QR code.
Questions people ask
Is this certificate a licence from a UAE regulator?
No. It is a professional certificate, not a regulatory licence or approval. Some regulated roles need separate approvals arranged by the employer.
Do free-zone firms hire graduates?
Some do, often into operations and compliance roles. Others prefer a year or two of experience first.
Does it matter whether I work onshore or in a free zone?
It changes which regulator and data rules apply to your employer, and therefore some of the controls you work within. The review skills are the same.
