Describe the work you would not let an agent finish alone. For a project coordinator in professional services, that means status reports you checked before a client saw them, scope and fee changes you kept with the project lead, and action logs you corrected. Add a certificate number. Employers want coordinators who keep clients' trust while an agent handles the chasing.
Where do agents help a project coordinator, and where do they not?
Coordination has a lot of repetitive work that agents handle well. An agent can chase actions, book meetings, draft minutes from notes, update a plan when a task closes and produce a first draft of the weekly status report. In a consultancy, engineering practice or agency, that saves real time.
The risks sit in client communication and money. A status report that says a milestone is on track when it is not, or an email that agrees to extra work without a change request, can damage a relationship or a fee. Those need a person. Your CV should show that you knew which was which.
What should you write about?
A useful way to choose: list your duties and ask, for each, "what could go wrong if the agent did this alone?" The ones with a real answer are your CV material.
- Status reports. The agent drafted from the plan and the action log. You checked each milestone's status against the people doing the work before sending.
- Client emails. The agent drafted routine updates. You held anything that touched scope, timing or fees for the project lead.
- Change requests. The agent noticed when a client asked for something outside scope. You raised the change request.
- Risk and issue logs. The agent added items from meeting notes. You decided their rating and owner.
- Timesheets and budgets. The agent compiled hours. You flagged overruns to the project lead.
What does a credible line look like?
Here is one coordinator's before and after. Take a project coordinator we will call Zara at a mid-sized engineering consultancy (sample values):
- Before: "Used AI to automate project administration and reporting."
- After: "Checked every agent-drafted weekly status report against task owners before it went to the client; corrected milestones shown as on track that were at risk."
- After: "Held agent-drafted client emails that mentioned scope or timing for the project lead's approval; raised four change requests from requests the agent had flagged."
- After: "Reviewed the agent's additions to the risk log each week and assigned owners and ratings."
The difference is that every "after" line names a check and a reason. A hiring manager can ask about any of them.
How do you make it believable?
- Name the red line. "No commitment on scope, timing or fees went to a client without the project lead's approval" is specific and easy to verify.
- Show one correction. A status report you stopped from going out wrong is a better story than any number of meetings booked.
- Offer something checkable. A certificate issued through VerifyDoc.ai can be checked by number or QR code. The free Foundations badge from Pryme Intelligence Academy is a reasonable start if you have not reviewed agent work formally; the Operator certificate goes further.
For copyable wording, see the AI agent skills CV section for a project coordinator. For the full document, read how to rewrite a project coordinator CV for AI operations jobs. Coordinators who run a team's daily queue rather than client projects should compare with how an operations coordinator shows AI agent skills on a CV.
Is this enough to move into an AI operations role?
It can be, but be honest about the gap. Project coordination shows organisation and client judgment. AI operations roles also want people who have reviewed an agent's decisions to a standard and know what to do when it goes wrong. If you have not done that, say what you are doing to build it, rather than stretching your current experience.
Questions people ask
Should I list project management tools?
Describe them generically, such as "a project planning tool". Employers care how you checked and decided, and they may use a different tool.
Do I need a project management qualification as well?
It helps for project roles, but it does not show agent review skills. The two answer different questions, so list both if you have them.
What titles should I search for?
Titles vary: project coordinator, delivery coordinator, project operations analyst. Read the duties for review, approvals and client communication. The guide to AI skills for job seekers explains what employers will ask you to prove.
