How to become an AI agent reviewer in Denmark

How to become an AI agent reviewer in Denmark: what reviewers decide, where roles are, EU AI Act and GDPR duties, the certificate and a 90-day plan.

Danish employers need AI agent reviewers who can decide the cases an agent holds, check its sources, record a clear reason and never miss a red line. Most reviewers come from case handling, bookkeeping, customer service or administration. Get there by showing process knowledge, assessed review decisions and a certificate that any employer can check at source.

What does review work look like in Denmark?

A reviewer decides the work a governed agent has held for a person. Each held item shows what the agent proposed, which bound stopped it and the sources it used. You approve, amend or decline, and your decision and reason are filed.

Denmark's digital public services and businesses mean many processes already run online, which makes agents a natural next step. Demand for reviewers sits in banks and insurers, accounting and bookkeeping firms, energy and logistics companies, and firms that deliver services for public bodies. Titles vary: sagsbehandler (case handler) with review duties, quality controller, operations specialist. Read the duties rather than the title.

What will you review, and at what depth?

Each agent earns one depth on the employer's cases, and each task needs a depth. Reviewers decide what the agent holds and sample what it does alone.

  • Supplier invoices at an accounting firm, depth 3 with holds. The agent posts invoices that match order and receipt. You decide the ones it holds: mismatched VAT numbers, new suppliers, changed bank details.
  • Insurance claims, depth 2. The agent drafts the decision. You check policy wording and evidence.
  • Energy billing disputes, depth 2. The agent drafts a correction. You approve or amend.
  • Customs queries at a logistics firm, depth 2. The agent drafts answers. You send anything that commits a date or a cost.
  • Payments, depth 4, refused above a limit. The agent may only draft those; you make or stop them. A bank detail change that arrived by email is external information and cannot authorise a payment on its own.

Which reviewer jobs are open to you?

Role (titles vary) What it involves Often comes from
Agent reviewer Deciding held items with a recorded reason Case handling, bookkeeping, service
AI quality reviewer Sampling the agent's allowed work for errors and drift Quality control
Exceptions specialist Investigating refused and held cases Back office
Senior reviewer Running a queue and coaching others Experienced reviewers

If you come from bookkeeping, moving from bookkeeper to AI agent reviewer shows how your skills transfer. If sampling and quality work appeal more, read how to become an AI quality reviewer and use the AI quality reviewer CV template.

What skills and certificate do Danish employers look for?

Danish employers value competence, reliability and a plain, factual manner. In interviews, expect a practical case: "The agent held an invoice because the supplier's bank account changed. The supplier's email says it is urgent. What do you do?" Keep the hold, call the supplier on a number you already have, record the outcome and the reason.

Show that you work well with colleagues. Reviewers flag patterns to builders and owners, and Danish workplaces expect open discussion of problems.

Certified Pryme Operator is the professional certificate for this work. It is not a government licence or a Danish educational qualification. It combines a 40-question exam in 60 minutes with a pass mark of four in five and a two-week practicum of review decisions marked to nineteen in twenty correct with no missed red line, signed off by a Pryme assessor. If your job does not use Pryme, you do the practicum on a simulated queue in a free workspace. It is issued through VerifyDoc.ai, valid for 12 months, and checkable at source by number or QR code.

Which rules shape review work in Denmark?

Denmark is an EU member, so the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) applies. It entered into force on 1 August 2024 and phases in over several years. Article 14 requires that high-risk systems be designed for effective human oversight, and Article 26 requires deployers to assign that oversight to people with the necessary competence, training and authority. Article 4 expects AI literacy among staff who work with AI systems. A reviewer with assessed decisions on record helps an employer show this.

GDPR governs the personal data in held cases, supervised by the national data protection authority. Article 22 restricts solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, which is one reason meaningful human review matters: you must be able to change the outcome, not just confirm it. Banks and insurers also work under DORA from 17 January 2025.

This is an explanation of the rules, not legal advice; confirm how they apply to you with counsel.

What should your 90 days look like?

Weeks 1 to 4. Earn the free Foundations badge. Write six cases from your work where you stopped or changed something, each with the source you trusted.

Weeks 5 to 9. Study the Operator modules; lessons can be read or played as audio. Match the duties in ten adverts to your cases. Sit the exam.

Weeks 10 to 13. Complete the practicum. Have the certificate issued and apply. How to become an AI agent reviewer covers the general route.

Where the Academy fits

Pryme Intelligence Academy sets module tests in your own industry and role, so a bookkeeper practises on invoices and a claims handler on claims. Lessons, labs and tests are free. Once you have reviewed for a while, Builder is the next track if you want to design agents; how to go from AI agent reviewer to AI agent builder explains the step. The AI agent jobs and careers guide shows the wider field.

Questions people ask

Do I need Danish?

For queues serving Danish customers or Danish documents, yes. Some international firms run English-language queues.

Can part-time workers be reviewers?

Often, yes. The practicum takes two weeks of decisions, so plan it around your hours.

Is reviewing a dead end?

No. It is the base for quality, builder and owner roles, because those all depend on knowing how agents fail.
