Which rules shape oversight work in Sweden?
Sweden, as an EU member, applies the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). It entered into force on 1 August 2024, with obligations phasing in over several years. Article 4 expects providers and deployers to ensure sufficient AI literacy among staff working with AI systems. Article 14 describes human oversight of high-risk systems, and Article 26 sets out deployers' obligations, including assigning oversight to competent people.
