AI skills for job seekers·Answer

How should a team leader show AI agent skills on a CV?

How a team leader should show AI agent skills on a CV: calibration run, review cover planned, overrides read and acted on, and a certificate.

Show what your team did better because of you. A team leader's CV should describe how you planned review cover for an agent's held work, ran calibration so reviewers decided alike, read the override and hold figures, and acted when they moved. Add your certificate number. In telecoms contact centres, that is the evidence a head of operations wants before promoting you.

What is a team leader's job when agents join the team?

Before agents, a contact centre team leader managed people taking calls. With agents handling routine billing questions, plan changes and engineer bookings, the team's work shifts towards reviewing what the agent held, taking its handovers and dealing with the hard cases. The team leader now manages a mixed operation.

That brings new duties. Somebody has to make sure enough reviewers are on shift when the agent is busy. Somebody has to check that two reviewers looking at the same held credit would make the same call. Somebody has to notice when reviewers keep overriding the agent on one kind of case and get that fixed. That somebody is you.

Which leadership tasks should you describe?

Choose the ones you have done, and describe each with an outcome.

  • Review cover. You planned rotas around the agent's busy periods so held items did not wait.
  • Calibration. You ran regular sessions where reviewers decided the same sample cases and discussed differences.
  • Coaching. You coached reviewers who approved too much or held too much, using their own decisions as examples.
  • Reading the numbers. You watched holds, overrides and handovers, and asked why when they changed.
  • Escalation. You took repeated problems to whoever owned the agent's sources and limits, and checked the fix.
  • Approval rights. Where your business tied approval rights to a current certificate, you kept your team's certificates current.

What does a strong line look like?

Take a team leader we will call Rhys at a mobile network's customer care centre. His old line read: "Led a team of 12 advisers through AI transformation." His rewritten lines read (sample values):

  • "Planned review cover for the billing agent's held items across early and late shifts, so that held goodwill credits were decided within the hour."
  • "Ran fortnightly calibration on 20 sample held cases; brought reviewer agreement up to nineteen in twenty on the same decisions."
  • "Spotted that overrides on contract cancellation offers had doubled in a week; escalated it and found the agent was using an expired retention offer as a source."
  • "Certified Pryme Operator, certificate no. [number], valid to [month, year]."

The third line is the story an interviewer will ask about. It shows Rhys reads numbers as signals and acts on them.

How do you make leadership claims checkable?

Leadership claims are easy to inflate, so make yours specific.

  1. Name a measure and what you did about it. "Overrides doubled; I found the cause" is checkable at interview.
  2. Show calibration. It is the single best sign that you managed decision quality, not just activity.
  3. Give a certificate they can verify. A certificate issued through VerifyDoc.ai can be checked by number or QR code, and the public register lists name, credential and expiry.

Where the Academy fits

Pryme Intelligence Academy's Operator track is designed for reviewers, team leads and operations staff, and its modules on reading the workspace and running the rhythm match a team leader's work. The certificate needs a written exam and a two-week practicum signed off by an assessor, and is valid for twelve months with a short renewal. Team leaders who later lead multi-agent deployments can progress towards Architect.

Questions people ask

Should I list my team's results or my own?

Both, but be clear which is which. Team results show leadership; your own review decisions show you understand the work you are managing.

Is calibration really worth a CV line?

Yes. Few candidates mention it, and it shows you managed whether decisions were consistent, which is what operations heads worry about most.

What if I lead a team that does not use agents yet?

Describe how you run quality and coaching now, and say what you are doing to prepare. The guide to AI skills for job seekers explains what employers will ask you to prove.
