Patterns, not single cases, belong at the top of an AI operations analyst CV. Show the measures you tracked across an agent's decisions, the drift or incidents you spotted, how you investigated them and what changed as a result. Add the domain you know and a certificate an employer can check. The template and a filled sample are below.
What should this CV prove?
An AI operations analyst watches how agents perform across all their work. Reviewers judge individual items; the analyst judges the pattern. That means tracking how often work is held, declined or escalated, noticing when those rates move, finding the cause and taking a fix to the agent's owner. What an AI operations analyst does explains the role in detail.
So the CV has to prove you can read numbers in context. A rise in held refunds might mean the agent has drifted, or that a new product launched, or that a source went stale. The analyst who can tell those apart is the one employers want. Backgrounds include MI and reporting analysts, workforce planners, quality analysts and experienced team leaders. Titles vary: operations analyst, performance analyst, AI ops analyst, automation analyst. Read the duties: "monitoring", "trends", "root cause", "incidents" and "reporting to owners" are the signals.
How do you fill it in?
- Use investigations as your evidence. Two or three short stories, each with a signal, a cause and an outcome, will carry the CV.
- Name the measures you watched. Held rate, refusal rate, escalation rate, reviewer overturns, time to decision. Do not invent figures; describe the movement in words if you cannot share numbers.
- Separate correlation from cause. Say how you confirmed the cause, for example by reading the decision record for a sample of cases.
- Show who acted. The analyst recommends; the owner decides. Say who you took the finding to.

A worked example
Illustrative only. Kofi, an invented candidate, was an MI analyst in the contact centre of a regional energy supplier.
Profile: Operations analyst with five years in contact centre reporting. Tracks agent and team performance, finds causes of drift and takes fixes to owners. Certified Pryme Operator.
Investigation one: - Signal: held billing queries roughly doubled over two weeks. - Check: read the decision record for 40 held items; compared with the tariff change calendar. - Cause: a new tariff was missing from the agent's sources, so it held every query that mentioned it. - Outcome: the owner had the tariff added to the policy library; the agent was re-certified and the held rate returned to normal within a week.
Investigation two: - Signal: reviewers overturned more of the agent's draft payment-plan letters. - Check: grouped overturns by reviewer and by customer type. - Cause: one reviewer applied an old affordability rule; the agent was right. - Outcome: calibration session for the review team; overturns fell back.
Measures and reports: weekly held, refusal and escalation rates by capability for the agent owner; monthly summary for the head of operations.
The second investigation is the more persuasive one: Kofi found that the people, not the agent, had drifted. Where the Academy fits
The Operator track at Pryme Intelligence Academy includes modules on reading the workspace, keeping knowledge current and what to do when something goes wrong, which is the analyst's daily material. Module tests are set in your own industry and role, and the practicum gives you two weeks of signed-off decisions. The resulting certificate can be checked by number or QR code.
Questions people ask
Do I need advanced statistics?
Rarely. Most operations analysis is careful comparison over time and reading samples of decisions. Clear reasoning and the habit of checking a cause before reporting it matter more than advanced methods.
Can I use contact centre reporting as evidence?
Yes. Queue, quality and handling-time analysis is the same discipline applied to people. Show one investigation where you found a cause, and the move to agent work is easy to see.
What is the difference between this CV and a quality reviewer CV?
A quality reviewer CV centres on scoring individual decisions against a standard. An operations analyst CV centres on movements across many decisions and what caused them.
