UAE employers often expect a little more personal detail than European ones: nationality, visa status, location and notice period near the top, alongside a two-page CV in reverse date order with a summary, achievements, languages and certificates. For AI operations roles, add the decisions you make, your red lines and a certificate an employer can check.
What do UAE employers usually expect?
The UAE workforce is international, so conventions vary by employer, but these are common:
- Length: two pages for most experienced candidates.
- Personal details: name, phone, email, profile link and current emirate. Nationality and visa status are usually stated, because they affect hiring steps.
- Notice period and availability: commonly given near the top.
- Photo: often included, but not required; many multinationals do not expect one.
- Languages: English and Arabic levels, plus others; multilingual skills are valued in customer-facing roles.
- References: usually on request.

How do you tailor it for AI operations roles?
Titles vary: operations analyst, reviewer, customer operations specialist, quality analyst, AI operations coordinator. Read the duties for review, exceptions, approvals, quality and escalation, and give each a short example.
Several regulators shape oversight work in the UAE. The Central Bank of the UAE supervises banks and payment firms onshore; the DFSA regulates firms in the DIFC and the FSRA those in ADGM. The federal Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) governs personal data, and the DIFC has its own Data Protection Law. If you did oversight work under one of these, a single line naming it is useful. This is an explanation of the rules, not legal advice; confirm how they apply to you with counsel.

Questions people ask
Should I include my photo?
It is common in the UAE but not required. If you include one, make it professional. Some multinational employers prefer CVs without photos.
Is Arabic required for AI operations roles?
Not always. Many roles work in English, but customer-facing review in retail and banking often values Arabic. State your level accurately.
Is the Operator certificate a licence to work in UAE financial services?
No. The Pryme Intelligence Academy Operator certificate is a professional certificate that shows you can oversee agent work, not a licence from any regulator. Where a regulator requires its own approvals for a role, those are separate.
